Jackson Cares

A Message From Our President & CEO- September 2017

Dear Jackson family,

I hope that you and your loved ones did not suffer much from the effects of Hurricane Irma.

I am pleased to report that the Jackson Health facilities were not impacted by the effects of the storm and are fully operational. In fact, our hospitals, emergency rooms, and trauma centers across town never diverted a single patient in need.

As you may know, there is usually an increase of accidents and emergency situations after a storm of this magnitude and our emergency rooms were ready and able to treat more than 800 patients per day.

At Jackson Health Foundation, we are focused on strengthening the spirit of collaboration as we recover from the aftermath while regaining a sense of normalcy. Along with Jackson Health System, we are joining efforts with the United Way to assist those most affected by the storm. We will share ways you can join this effort via our social media platforms and you can stay up-to-date by visiting http://www.jacksonhealthfoundation.org/jacksoncares

Once again, on behalf of the patients and families we serve, we hope you are well. Your support has played an important role in making sure that Jackson Health System continues to be a beacon of hope for South Florida residents today and every day.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 305-585- GIVE (4483) or email us at jhf@jhsmiami.org.

Sincerely,

Keith R. Tribble, President & CEO
