The Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies gives back to Jackson

The Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies (LAAIA) recently presented Jackson Health Foundation with a $27,500 donation to fulfill part of a $150,000 pledge being used to fund the Creative Arts Activity Room at Holtz Children’s Hospital. LAAIA has been a great supporter of Holtz Children’s Hospital for over 20 years and is determined to give back to the patients and families who depend on Holtz Children’s by sponsoring the creation of this dynamic center.

The new Music and Art studio will be used by our music therapists to facilitate Arts and Crafts sessions for patients of all ages. This is a creative outlet for the patients and families to express themselves, de-stress, relax and normalize the hospital experience.

The Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies (LAAIA) was founded in 1969 as “The Voice of Independent Insurance Agents.” Their purpose is to ensure a healthy insurance environment and protect the rights of its members for the benefit of the consumer through education, information, networking and active participation in the political environment and community service.
