Jackson Employee Giving

Better Together, Jackson Health Foundation’s 2023 Employee Giving Campaign, is an opportunity for all Jackson Health System team members to give back to the areas of greatest need within our health system. We are grateful for your generosity, hard work, and the impact you make in our community.

The campaign is powered by your participation and no donation is too big or too small. During the month of April, join us by making a recurring donation of $5, $10, or more through payroll deduction or a one-time gift of any amount.

Run or Walk at Our Mind Your Health Event

Join a team or create your own for the Foundation’s Mind Your Health 5K run and one-mile walk on Saturday, May 13. The run, walk, and family festival will benefit Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital and bring awareness to mental health resources available to the community. What is Jackson Health Foundation?

Jackson Health Foundation is Jackson’s partner in leveraging philanthropic gifts that help us build new facilities, invest in our staff, and fund technology and innovation.

What is the Employee Giving Campaign and is it new?

The Employee Giving Campaign invites all Jackson team members to participate in giving back to the health system through financial support. Every gift counts regardless of its size. We know we are Better Together when we join forces to support the areas of greatest need within our organization. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the campaign hasn’t happened in recent years, but we’re back!

Where will my donation go?

Donations to the Employee Giving Campaign support Jackson’s areas of greatest need.

Can I designate my donation to my unit or hospital?

As our slogan says, we are Better Together, and funds raised are allocated to Jackson’s areas of greatest need in order to have the biggest impact. If you feel strongly about designating your donation to a specific area, click here to make your gift. Your participation will still count in the success of this year’s campaign.

Is the Employee Giving Campaign the same thing as the United Way giving campaign?

No. The United Way campaign happens in the fall and it encourages philanthropy to support organizations across Miami-Dade County. Our campaign focuses exclusively on supporting Jackson through donations made to Jackson Health Foundation.

Is there a minimum donation?

No amount is too big or too small! Every dollar makes an impact. Whether you sign up to make a $5 contribution per pay-period, or make a larger one-time donation, every single dollar supports the miracles made daily at Jackson.

Is there a prize for joining the Employee Giving Campaign?

When you make a donation during the month of April, you may receive an incentive from the Foundation in appreciation for your participation. 2023 giving incentives are included above on this page.

What if I want to change my recurring payroll donation?

Just log into Lawson and follow the steps to change your recurring donation if you’d like to.

Can I make a cash donation?

Yes!  Please visit us during one of the pop-up events at your work location to make a cash donation. The schedule is included above on this page.

I’m not able to make a donation right now. How can I help?

We can always use your talents! You can help by spreading the word throughout your department and encouraging others to give. Call Alexandra Salcedo at 305-585-GIVE (4483) for more ideas on how to help.
